Dangerous ideas and unprovable beliefs
Last week’s post was gonna be this post but I got carried away with Mr. CV’s stuff.
OK. Two weeks ago I bought and read the book that collaborators in EDGE.org (edited by John Brockman) just published: What We Believe but Cannot Prove: Today’s Leading Thinkers on Science in the Age of Certainty.

The question is there… since I’m Mr. Nobody, they wouldn’t ask me, so my opinion doesn’t count, but since I have opinions and you that read this blog also have I want to leave this question open to whoever has a (scientific please!!!) belief that cannot be proven (yet…).
Another question raised by Steven Pinker ( The Blank Slate, Thew Language Instinct…) was:
What is your dangerous idea?
If you have any scientifically dangerous idea leave a comment. Come on don’t be shy, you probably have a feeling that there’s something somewhere that….
Well, I eagerly wait for your contributions!!!
I’ll leave mine this week, I have to finish up a paper between today and tomorrow.
