I’m very interested in the epigenetics field raising studies. There is a blog fully dedicated to this, which seems to be reliable in their approach to the matter.
If you wanna know more about transgenerational epigenetic inheritance I suggest you to check the site aforementioned or for a nice review, although from 2004, have a look at this paper.

Last week I was reading a paper in PLOS genetics by Blewitt et al. whose title is Dynamic Reprogramming of DNA Methylation at an Epigenetically Sensitive Allele in Mice which, at least in the mouse model of their work, found notable contradictory results with previous studies on Avy allele methylation marks, suggesting that DNA methylation is not the inherited epigenetic mark in this (Avy) allele.

Any epigenetically literate could help me? what could be then?
As usual I don’t know… but I find it fascinating!
